The 22 platform is a legend in the radio control racing world and this new Losi version is ready-made for racing while keeping the appeal of backyard bashing. A powerful Dynamite® brushless system provides abundant power that’s completely manageable with the aid of AVC® (Active Vehicle Control®) technology. The get-up-and-go of the 22S is easily handled by the race-inspired suspension of the championship winning 22 race platform. Several Team Losi Racing 22 platform performance parts can upgrade the look, style and performance of the 22S RTR. With user-friendly design concepts, like a bottom loading battery compartment and hard mounted electronics, the user experience is hassle-free allowing the bashing to begin right away.
Based on the legendary, high-performance 22 platform, the 22S SCT features a super-tough composite chassis and the ability to adjust the suspension and drivetrain for any condition.
The 22S isn’t just a looker, it's built tough and tunable with aluminium chassis plates in the front and rear to provide chassis rigidity and extreme performance.
With the turn of a dial you can unlock the bottom loading battery tray and quickly change batteries without the need to remove the body or hassle with body clips.
The 60A ESC helps propel the 22S SCT to speeds in excess of 50mph. Pre-wired EC3 connector and 3S lipo compatibility, the 60A ESC represents the ultimate in performance and reliability.
The brushless ESC and motor provide wicked power with a 2 or 3 cell Li-Po (not included) that will blaze speeds of 50+ MPH on 3S power.
The Dynamite and Spektrum electronics are hard mounted to provide a clean look and to remain attached to the chassis even when pushing the 22S to it’s limits.
The 22S SCT comes with a metal gear transmission for bullet-proof reliability to withstand anything you throw at it, in your backyard or at the track.
The oil filled differential helps the 22S handle like it’s on rails thanks to increased traction in all driving conditions. Unlike other SCT’s in this class, the rear differential can be tuned to perform like a beast in the backyard or at the track.
Designed to not only be tough, but increase performance and withstand the extreme power from the included Dynamite Fuze brushless power system.
Adjustable oil filled coil-over shocks on all four corners soak up the gnarliest terrain. The 12mm shocks are fully-adjustable and allow you to tune the handling of the 22S SCT to maximize performance and dominate anywhere.
Designed for maximum traction, the 22S SCT’s Maxxis Razr MT tires have enough bite to rip up the turns like a pro on the track as well as in the backyard.
The 22S SCT comes standard with 12mm wheel hex which allow you to run aftermarket short course wheels with the same wheel off-set.
For added precision, the waterproof steering servo makes short work of tight turns. Drivers can crank it knowing the responsiveness is second to none.
Not only do sealed bearings improve your performance, they will allow you to run the 22S SCT in any condition without fear of drive train damage.
Complete metric hardware is featured throughout the 22S SCT, including bearings, screws and nuts.
The receiver's built-in AVC (Active Vehicle Control) system works behind the scenes, making hundreds of throttle and steering adjustments per second, so more of the motor's power is translated into ballistic speed and acceleration instead of just flying dirt. Like traction control in your full-scale vehicle, you can activate or deactivate the system on the fly and adjust the level of stability based on driving conditions.
The Spektrum™ DX2e Active™ radio system offers advanced features like AVC control, a 3-position throttle limiting switch and travel adjust. It also has an expansion port that lets you add the Spektrum Speedometer or a Bluetooth module and phone mount to utilize the Spektrum Dashboard app.
Adding the included Spektrum FPV mount lets you easily install an all-in-one FPV (First Person View) system. When combined with the Spektrum heavy-duty FPV camera (SPMVA2510) and a headset (SPMVM430C), you’re ready to experience a driving sensation more intense than any other vantage point can offer.
Adding the optional Spektrum™ Speedometer allows you to instantly see your vehicle's speed in real time (other items may be required). It also records top speed and features an easy-to-read LED screen.
The Spektrum Dashboard Mobile application allows you to view everything from speed, motor or engine temperature, battery voltage and more (optional accessories required).
